The feeder works with the Tuya Smart app, available free on iOS and Android. After connecting to your 2.4GHz WiFi, you can schedule meals, set portion sizes, and receive low-food alerts directly from the app.

The dual diagonal channels work well with standard dry kibble from 2mm to 15mm in diameter. Very small kibble (under 2mm) or irregularly shaped treats may not dispense evenly. Wet food and semi-moist food are not compatible.

Scheduled meals are stored on the feeder itself, not only in the cloud. If your WiFi drops, the feeder continues dispensing on the pre-set schedule. You will lose real-time app control until connectivity is restored, but your pet's meals will not be missed.
